Jessen Pty ltd is proud to have installed a Lehner lift Technik Omega platform stairlift lift at the Johannesburg International Airports International arrivals hall.
The omega lift comply to all SANS regulations and is fitted with some extras such as warning sounds and visual warning whilst in motion.
Any airport is a challenging space to work in due to security processes and compliances, and on top of that, the space available between the escalators for the platform
stairlift was very tight.
However, we “shoe horned” the platform lift in, creating an additional accessible solution for passengers arriving from International destinations.
Airline ground crew and AQSA staff have been trained, Airports management have signed off and another Jessen Pty ltd. lift is making South Africa more accessible.
